Salesperson of the Year

Selling the street magazine Situation Sthlm is the only work available for many of the homeless people of Stockholm. It’s a tough job, often in bad weather, cold temperatures, and with customers increasingly trying to avoid them. Sales had decreased 50 % since 2015, and then the pandemic hit.

We wanted to highlight the effort the vendors of Situation Sthlm make every day, on the street corners, doorways, staircases and sidewalks of Stockholm. To get off the street. These are the real heroes within sales. All of them.

The ads ran throughout the summer of 2021 mainly in the subway, but also as radio and print. And all the vendors wore a badge showing that they all were Salesperson of the Year.

The campaign led to an enormous turnaround in sales figures and ended a six year long decreasing sales trend to an increase in sales. Besides the positive increase in sales, the campaign also had a very positive impact on the engagement of employees. New enrollments of salespeople increased with 183% and many expressed pride and appreciation for the campaign.
