Lexus’ Japanese heritage and ambition to always deliver against ‘experience amazing’ is what distinguishes Lexus from its biggest competitors. That’s why we brought the very best of Tokyo to a Lexus pop-up showroom in central Stockholm.
A select few guests were invited to dine with the world-famous and pioneering female sushi chef, Yuki Chizui – head of Japan’s first sushi restaurant employing female-only sushi chefs. Not only did we invite Yuki, we built a replica of her Tokyo restaurant within the showroom to recreate a comparative Japanese vibe.
For the opportunity to win 1 out of the 12 exclusive seats at Lexus’ pop up restaurant, you had to show interest, either by signing up at a Lexus showroom or via the Facebook event page. Lexus received over 3,700 booking requests.
Before the Swedish premiere of the new Lexus UX in April 2019, Lexus’ yearly sales target had already been exceeded by 37%. The pop-up event was realized to build brand awareness amongst a new target group, specifically daring Stockholmers who have an interest in pioneering car design.
