The&Partnership The&Partnership

The last Wednesday each month, a new number of Situation Sthlm. That’s how it’s been for almost 30 years. But when the December issue launched last week, unusually big news was leaving the printing house. Not only in the form of a thicker paper with a 16-page increase, but most of all, that it’s now sold to a higher price.
– We are now increasing the price of Situation Sthlm to 80 SEK. Our structure is built on the vendors buying the paper for 40 SEK and then they earn the difference when they sell the paper. That means they will earn 10 SEK more for each paper they sell, which becomes a big wage difference in relation to before, says Pia Stolt, CEO of Situation Sthlm.
The&Partnership Nordics who has been collaborating with Situation Sthlm since a year back, got the task to communicate the new price of the paper. For an organization such as Situation Sthlm, the people are the focus. The whole business model is built to support the vendors fight back into society through work and by earning their own money. So, when the price of the paper increases that means a pay rise for the vendors. A fact worth to emphasize and celebrate.
