Emily Harlock

Emily is Chief Strategy Officer and Partner of The&Partnership London. She joined as CSO after 12 years at AMV BBDO where she led the Strategy department for her last four years there. Emily started her career in advertising as a graduate trainee at Ogilvy working on Dove’s Campaign for Real Beauty and never looked back.

Driven by big ideas that push boundaries and genuinely create change for brands, she has worked across a wide range of sectors (from tech to retail to charity to FMCG to airlines) to create award-winning, multi-channel marketing campaigns. Her experience in brand building and repositioning encompasses some of Britain’s biggest and most loved brands, including Sainsbury’s, The National Lottery, Maltesers, The Economist and Cancer Research UK.

She believes passionately in two things: the power of creativity to move people, business and culture; and the immeasurable value of a strong and healthy organisational culture. Emily is an alumni of The Marketing Academy and loves nothing more than getting to the heart of a problem then solving it with simplicity and creativity.

Emily is from Yorkshire and has three young daughters, Nancy, Connie and Esther.
